Completing her Bachelor Science degree in Life Sciences at the University of Nebraska, Dr. Dob shortly after attended the Ohio State University where she received her Doctor of Optometry degree.

Completing her Bachelor Science degree in Life Sciences at the University of Nebraska, Dr. Dob shortly after attended the Ohio State University where she received her Doctor of Optometry degree. Having practiced optometry for 25 years, today she is the successful owner of Mid America Vision Center. Dr. Dob is married to Dan Pedersen and have a son, Matt. Dr. Dob is active in community activities including being the treasurer of the Board Directors at Epworth Village, a York Rotary and Chamber of Commerce member, Benedict United Methodist Church member and a participant in the Nebraska Walk to Emmaus. Dr. Dob is an active member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) and Nebraska Optometric Association (NOA),
